Day 6 — When Resistance Breaks Without Striving

There are some obstacles that prayer alone addresses — and others that require prayer and fasting. Jesus Himself taught that certain resistance breaks only when deeper spiritual alignment is established.

Fasting weakens what resists God and strengthens what responds to Him. It clears spiritual interference and creates an environment where God’s power flows more freely. Resistance that once felt immovable begins to loosen.

Matthew 6 reminds us that God rewards fasting openly. Often that reward looks like sudden openness — people responding, situations shifting, and barriers falling without prolonged struggle.

As a church, we are believing that resistance will break in services, in hearts, in families, and in lives — not through pressure, but through presence. We are expecting an ease of movement in the Spirit that comes from consecration.

Fasting doesn’t exhaust us; it positions us. It aligns us with heaven’s authority and removes what hinders heaven’s flow.

Today, trust that what has resisted you is weakening as you fast.

Prayer
Father, break resistance that has stood against Your will. Let Your power flow freely.

Declaration
Resistance is breaking as we fast and pray.
