By Day 16 of the fast, many people are tempted to evaluate the season by what they can see. But biblical faith doesn’t work that way. Faith operates in the unseen long before it ever becomes visible.
In the story of the Shunammite woman, the miracle didn’t begin when the child was born — it began when the word was spoken. Conception came before manifestation. In the same way, God often does His deepest work in hidden places before anything changes outwardly.
Fasting trains us to trust what God is doing beneath the surface. It strengthens our ability to believe even when circumstances haven’t shifted yet. This is not denial; it’s discernment. Faith recognizes that just because something isn’t visible doesn’t mean it isn’t real.
As a church, we believe something has been conceived in this season — in hearts, in families, in ministries, and in our corporate future. What has been conceived must now be carried with patience and confidence.
Don’t rush the process. Don’t doubt the work. What God has begun, He will complete.
