Day 17 — Do Not Abort the Promise Through Discouragement

One of the greatest threats to faith is not opposition — it is discouragement. Discouragement whispers that nothing is happening and tempts us to let go just before breakthrough.

Scripture warns us not to grow weary in doing good, because weariness has a way of dulling our hope. Fasting confronts discouragement by reminding us that obedience matters even when results are delayed.

Many promises are lost not because God failed, but because people released their faith too early. Discouragement convinces us to stop praying, stop believing, or stop expecting — quietly, without drama.

As we near the end of this fast, guard your heart. Stay anchored in God’s faithfulness, not your feelings. The harvest always follows perseverance.

This is not the time to pull back. It is the time to stay steady.

Prayer
Lord, strengthen me when I feel weary. Guard my heart from discouragement.

Declaration
I will not grow weary. I will see the harvest.
